You can ask MACD Adaptive Limited to delete personal data connected with your use of macd.ie or our connected services, including a Meta-connected service.
How to request deletion
- Email macd@macd.ie with the subject Data deletion request.
- Tell us which service you used and the email address, phone number, Meta account identifier or other detail you used with it.
- Describe the data or account you want deleted. Do not send passwords, verification codes or payment-card details.
What happens next
We will acknowledge the request and may ask for limited information to verify that the data belongs to you. We will search the relevant systems, delete or anonymise data we are not required to keep, and confirm when the request is complete. We normally respond within one month as required by GDPR.
Data we may need to keep
We may retain limited information where Irish or EU law requires it, for example accounting records, or where needed to establish, exercise or defend legal claims, prevent fraud or protect security. If an exception applies, we will explain what is retained and why.
Backups and third-party platforms
Deleted data may remain in protected backups until those backups expire under their normal cycle and will not be restored for ordinary use. Data held independently by Meta or another platform must also be managed through that platform's own account and privacy controls.
