Short version: macd.ie does not set tracking cookies. No advertising cookies, no analytics cookies, no third-party marketing tags.
What we store
- Language preference. If you choose English or Spanish, the site remembers it in your browser's local storage (not a cookie). It never leaves your device and you can clear it in your browser settings.
Analytics
If we measure visits, we use GoatCounter, a privacy-friendly analytics service that does not use cookies and does not identify you. It records only aggregate page views.
Forms and chat
Details you type into a form or the assistant are used only to answer your enquiry, as explained in our Privacy Policy. No non-essential processing starts before the notice and, where required, consent mechanics are in place.
Your choices
You can block or delete cookies and local storage at any time in your browser. The site works the same without them, except it will ask your language again.
