Does your website answer the five questions customers keep asking?

Compare your top five questions with what the site shows.

Many small business owners can list them from memory. Are you open on Sunday? Do you take bookings? How much is a cut and blow-dry? Do you deliver to my area? Is there parking?

Some may arise because the answer is hard to find online: the customer didn't find the answer and had to stop and ask. Some may ask; others may leave without asking.

Who this is for

Salons, cafés, trades, clinics and shops: any business where the phone, WhatsApp or DMs fill up with the same questions.

Check it this week (10 minutes)

  1. Write down the five questions you answer most often. Ask whoever answers the phone.
  2. Open your website on your phone and look for each answer. If it takes more than a few seconds, count it as missing.
  3. Check your Google Business Profile. Are the opening hours right, including bank holidays?

What usually fixes it

Usually the fix isn't more pages. It's a short, clear block near the top of your homepage: hours, location, how to book or order, and prices if you're happy to show them. Then put the same answers on your Google profile so they match everywhere.

The aim is simple: the next customer gets the answer without having to ask.
